The placement of an order accepts the following conditions:
Security
1. The Rather Jolly Tea Company web site utilizes BigCommerce SSL Certificate to enable server security. Thereby offering a high level of encryption and security. This means you can rest assured that communications between your browser and this site's web servers are private and secure.
Delivery Order Details
2. Please see our delivery map for full details. All orders are shipped by UPS/USPS ground service or upgraded service as selected and are charged at UPS/USPS cost plus a handling charge.
Ordering
3. All items on this web site can be ordered via our online Buy Now! or by telephone.
Please call 1-800-842-6674 10 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday, 10 am - 4 pm Saturday
Perishable Orders
4. All orders containing perishable items will be shipped UPS Next Day Air at actual cost plus a handling charge.
5. Note: We accept no responsibility for perishable orders due to weather conditions and UPS handling.
6. In the event of extreme temperatures causing issues with items shipped, for example chocolate melting, we will at our discretion take additional precautions which could include adding ice bricks to the pack. We reserve the right to charge for the ice pack and extra shipping weight fees.
Payment
7. By Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express only.
8. Sorry, we do not accept personal checks or COD's.
9. For both online orders and telephone numbers we will require the following information:

Shipping
11. We ship orders by either UPS or USPS for USPS orders we will not ship parcels over 9 lb in weight to PO Boxes or to the state of Alaska without applying the current postal fees charged, this includes the usage of the free shipping option when selected for orders over $100 as offered by us (in this case the normal postal rates will be applied to the order as and where required).
12. Please note that we need a street address as UPS will not deliver to a post office box.
13. If you supply an incorrect/incomplete address or omit apartment, suite or floor # that results in a UPS ‘address correction’ fee we reserve the right to debit your credit card for this amount at whatever the prevailing rate as set by UPS.
14. In the case of any errors within the Buy Now! shipping module shipping will always be charged at prevailing rate.
15. If you are not satisfied with your purchase you have the right to exchange or return certain goods, such as gifts, but at the discretion of the British shoppe, the items must be received back in a perfect state, a restocking fee will be applied at 20% which will be applied to the refund. The buyer is responsible for any shipment of packages that they wish to return to us, unless damaged as occurred and had been reported to us and the carrier prior to return within 24 hours of receipt of product. Shipping fees will not be returned for shipment of product to the purchaser if they wish to return goods as they find are not required, unless the item had been agreed as damaged and unusable or out of date for perishable items, again prior to return damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of product to us, the carrier and photographs supplied as necessary.
Returns
16. All returns must be approved in advance by telephone. Please call 1-407-898-1634 10 am - 5 pm EST Monday to Friday.
17. Due to size and weight variations in available stock we reserve the right to substitute items with different weight and price points at our discretion and on occasion certain items may vary in packaging slightly due to manufacturers specification changes or supply received from of our distributors.
